Holidays ‘07
Monday, January 7th, 2008In the past few years, I seem to have developed a certain pattern–I alternate spending Christmas/New Year here in Singapore and in Manila.
This year, I wasn't able to spend it Manila. I just started with my new job and I couldn't take a long leave of absence.
So it was a typical Holiday Season in Singapore.
Hubby and I, together with our housemates and some guests, had Noche Buena in our place. We ordered turkey, honeycomb ham and roast beef from Cold Storage plus I prepared potato salad, pesto and herb chicken. A week after Christmas, we still had left over turkey. Hay!

Then, on New Year's Eve, Hubby and I had dinner at Pastamania with The Housemates. After that, we headed off to Marina Bay to watch the fireworks near Esplanade. (Click here to view the fireworks) We ended the night with drinks in our place. Actually, it was just them who drank. I had to welcome the New Year with a bang…in my stomach! Bummer…

Happy new year!

Some time ago, I needed to buy a car for my corporation but I did not earn enough money and couldn’t purchase anything. Thank heaven my brother proposed to try to take the loans from banks. Thence, I acted that and used to be satisfied with my secured loan.
