Jolly V sa SG!!!
Monday, November 26th, 2007 About two weeks ago, I received a PM from Kendz: Mitchie, may bagong pinoy food outlet sa Lau Pa Sat. Super kalasa ng Jollibee!!!
Being a certified Chickenjoy lover, it immediately piqued my curiousity because I was craving for Jollibee for such a loooong time now!!! Even my other pinoy friends here told me that it really tasted like Jollibee!!! So when I finally had time to spare, Jun and I, together with Kat, headed down to Lau Pa Sat to finally get a taste of this Jolly-V.
I ordered: 2 piece chicken (no extra rice ha hehehe feeling on diet! I ended up getting half of Kat's extra rice naman!)…
Jun ordered spag, chicken and hotdog sandwich…
Verdict: Really tastes like Jollibee–90% kuhang kuha !!! The gravy is just the one that's not so Jollibee-ish, pero ok pa rin naman. Yung chicken grabe! When I took my first bite, I had a taste of home! You can quote me on that!

Newbie in SG?
To go to Lau Pa Sat (and taste not only Jolly V but also other local food), take the MRT (EW or NS line) then get off at Raffles station. Then walk towards Robinson Road. If you hate walking a long distance (like me hehe), the best way is to take Exit I then walk towards Cross Street

Like Nell, found the name sooo hilarious! As in gra-V (grabe pala!). At least, it’s the closest thing to the real mccoy, right?
Will make sure I pass on this find to my SG-based friends.

Posted by Lizeth at July 11, 2008, 11:23 ammga kababayan, alam nyo ba ang contact number mismo ng Jolly V sa lau pa sat? kasi pag big lang nag crave ka ng filipino food late at night, hinde mo sigurado kung bukas pa… so kelangan matawagan muna…
thanks in advance!

blog hop from pinky’s site, hello there!
seeing the signage, JOLLY V made me laugh out loud. the food looks delish and menu similar to JOLLIBEE, price wise it’s relatively affordable. how’s the spaghetti, lasang pinoy ba?
