Libra in the Eyes of a Leo

Sunday, October 14th, 2007

Most of the people I love most has Libra (Sept 24 to Oct 23) as their zodiac sign. My best girlfriends are all Libra: Chinky, Lica and Kelly. My husband, Jun, is a Libra. My husband's best friend, Chris, is also a Libra. My husband's brother, Kiko, is also a Libra. Ces, another close girlfriend, is also one.  In the online world, one of my most favorite online buddies, Emtee, is also a Libra…

And these are just my favorite people, what more the others out there (who aren't exactly my favorite heheh). Is it because a lot of people try to get pregnant during the months of January and February, ending up in the delivery room when October comes?

I am surrounded by Libras!!!

Go to fullsize image

I don't fully believe in  zodiac signs because I believe each person is unique in their own way and you cannot determine a person's being just based on the date of his birthday. However, you can't help but notice the striking resemblance in these Libra's attitude.

I love the Libra zodiac. It's my favorite zodia sign, next to Leo, of course. I'm so familiar with it that when I say to someone: "Libra ka noh?", most often, it would turn out I'm correct.

According to Astrology Online (and based from various conversations with Chinky about zodiac signs), Libras are:

1. Diplomatic - Hmm, yeah, they can be tactful and discreet if the need arises…

2. Urbane - If this means being elegant or having refined manners, then I don't agree hehe…Most of the Libras I know are loud and fun and so outgoing that they don't care about what's properly said or done. Nagmumura pag galit, umiiyak pag malungkot, sumisimangot ng todo pagnagtatampo, etc etc.

3. Romantic - DEFINITELY! or at least, a hopeless romantic. or for the guys, romantic if they want to win you over. But overall, still romantic.

4. Charming - I agree! Even if they're not that attractive physically (I'm not talking about any particular person, please wag mag-react!), somehow they get to be the "the crush" of some people (plural sense ha). I attribute this to the fact that they are FSB (Flirts Since Birth–see no. 13). Be careful, they can easily trap you and it'll be difficult to break away.

5. Easygoing - I agree but it's not too obvious to some.

6. Sociable - I don't agree. I think their being sociable is preferential. Read: They're only sociable to people they like (again, see no. 13)

7. Idealistic - I have no idea cuz my friends have no moral or ideals ahehehe…

8. Peacable (is there such a word?) - Parang mahilig ata sila makipag-away sa partners nila e (except my husband ata)

9. Indecisive - obvious ba na super agree ako dito? They really look at different angles. Keep changing their mind. Sometimes, they know what decision to make but they need some kind of affirmation from others before they can finally make up their mind.

10. Changeable - If this refers to the ability to be flexible and to adopt to changes, I can say it's true for most of them.

11. Gullible - hindi ata.

12. Easily-influenced - hindi rin ata. the lovable thing about Libras is that though it takes them time to come up with a decision, once they've made up their mind about something, they really stick to it.

13. Flirtatious - yes, yes, yes. in their own different ways.

14. Self-indulgent - yes and no comment. baka mag-react ang asawa ko.

Love you all guys. Hope you have/had a blast in your birthday for this year!

To Lica, Chinky and Kelly, I hope one day I'll be able to get drunk again with you, on your birthdays.

And to the most handsome, the most patient, the most loving, the most understanding, the kindest Libra man in the whole wide world: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HONIE! Thank you for doing the list's "no. 13" twelve years ago. If not, we probably won't end up together hehehe. Mwah! See you later after work.
